Art of Rally
Bei Art of Rally handelt es sich um ein Rallyespiele, welches den Fokus nicht auf Realismus oder Komplexität setzt. Aber gerade das schlichte, minimalistische Design und das Artstyle macht das Game einzigartig: Optisch ist das Gesamtbild aufeinander abgestimmt und wirkt durch das Zusammenspiel zwischen kräftigen Farben und kantige Objektgrafiken wie ein gemaltes Bild.
Trotz alledem lassen sich die ingesamt über 50 Fahrzeuge aus der Rallywelt erkennen: Fans können sich auf ikonische Fahrzeuge der 60er, 70er, 80er und Gruppe B, S und A freuen. Der Karrieremodus greift dabei auf über 60 Etappen in Finnland, Italien, Norwegen, Japan und Deutschland zurück und ermöglicht somit viel Spielspaß beziehungsweise Langzeitmotivation. Leaderboards mit tägliche und wöchentliche Challenges, Foto- und ein Replay-Modus runden das Game ab.
Verantwortlich für Art of Rally ist das Entwicklerstudio Funselektor Labs Inc. aus Nelson, Kanada. Eine PC-Version via Steam, GOG und Epic Games Store ist bereits seit September 2020 verfügbar. Für Sommer 2021 ist eine Xbox One-/Xbox Series S- und X- (+ Gamepass/xCloud), Nintendo Switch- und PS4/PS5-Version geplant. Ein zuvor angekündigtes Kenia-Erweiterungspaket (4 neue Fahrzeuge, 6 neue Strecken und ein Freeroam-Area) wird wohl zeitgleich im Sommer erscheinen.

art of rally is a stylized rally experience from the creator of Absolute Drift.
## **History**
Developer Dune Casu began playing around with a rally game after his first title Absolute Drift launched in 2015, however this project didn't fully emerge as art of rally until 2017. Dune took his initial inspiration from many hours spent playing the original Colin Mcrae rally games on PC in the early 2000's, as well as his time driving WRC cars from the 1990s in New Zealand. During the development process Dune attended DirtFish rally school in an effort to gain a better understanding of how rally cars work. Much of the development was done in a camper van that he lives in while doing road trips around Canada, America and Mexico. Dune uses his travels to seek out inspiration and research the various environments featured the game.
