Sony Pictures und PlayStation Productions haben bestätigt, dass Ghost of Tsushima verfilmt wird. Der Regisseur Chad Stahelski, bekannt durch die John-Wick-Filme, übernimmt die Regie. An der Verfilmung ist Sucker Punch als Executive-Producer beteiligt und 87Eleven Entertainment übernimmt die Produktion.
