Minute of Islands
Bei Minute of Islands handelt es sich um ein klassisches Adventure/Puzzle-Game, welches sowohl jüngere als auch ältere Gamer ansprechen soll. Das deutsche Entwicklerstudio Studio Fizbin mit Sitz in Ludwigsburg und Berlin legt dabei einen großen Fokus auf die Grafik. Der Grafikstil erinnert nämlich stark an einen handgezeichneten Comic. Das Game entsteht dabei in Zusammenarbeit mit Publisher Mixtvision, als Förderer dient das Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, das MFG Baden-Württemberg und das Creative Europe MEDIA-Programm der Europäischen Union.
Im Game schlüpft man in die Rolle von Mo, eine erfahrene Mechanikerin/Tüftlerin. Begleitet wird sie von Omni Switch, ein stabförmiger Gehilfe. Zusammen begehen sie sich auf die Reise, um die Welt vor dem Zusammenbruch zu retten. Grund dafür sind gefährliche Sporen. Um diese in Schach zu halten, sind mysteriöse Antennen notwendig, die aber jetzt nach und nach ihre Funktion ohne erkennbaren Grund einstellen. Für Mo Grund genug, um sich auf die Reise zu machen.
Minute of Islands wird am 18. März für PC, PS4, Xbox One und Nintendo Switch erscheinen.

STORY
The game places players in a strange and beautiful archipelago, polluted by dangerous spores. The only thing keeping the series of islands safe are mysterious antennas built when Giants lived alongside people. But the machines are now failing, and the only person who can repair them is engineer, Mo, and her versatile Omni-Switch.
Driven to protect her family and friends, Mo sets out on a quest where she encounters a cast of curious creatures along the way. But, as she uncovers the truth of the islands and the giants living below the surface, she will begin to learn that maybe her focus and stoic ambition are not always the assets she believes them to be. It’s a journey that will have players discovering more about the islands and Mo, while also having them examine their own lives and priorities. It’s this realisation that leads Mo on a journey over the haunted islands of her homeworld and into the depths of her subconscious.
