Das deutsche Entwicklerstudio Jo-Mei Games und Publisher Quantic Dream haben nun im Zuge der The Game Awards-Veranstaltung eine erweiterte Version von Sea of Solitude für die Nintendo Switch-Plattform offiziell angekündigt.
Das Game trägt die Zusatzbezeichnung "The Director's Cut" und umfasst im Vergleich zur Originalversion ein neues Script, neue Sprachstimmen im Game und ein neuer Photo-Modus. Das Game wird am 4. Mai 2021 im Handel erscheinen. Eine limitierte Retail-Version ist ebenfalls geplant.
