Vor kurzem wurde verkündigt, dass Tales of Symphonia die Gamecube Exklusivität verliert und auch auf der Playstation 2 erscheinen wird. Dies ist soweit auch richtig, jedoch wird Tales of Symphonia für die PS2 nur in Japan erscheinen. Die Gamecube Version hingegen wird am 17. Juli in den U.S.A. erscheinen und die Pal Version ist ebenfalls schon angeküdingt worden. Dies bestätigt ein Moderator aus dem offiziellen Tales of Symphonia Forum:
