Vor wenigen Tagen war der Unmut bei vielen Gamecubeusern groß. Wieder wurde ein Spiel nur für ihre Konsole gecancelled. Laut diversen Meldungen sollte das Spiel Street Racing Syndicate nicht mehr wie ursprünglich geplant für Nintendos Würfel erscheinen, sondern nur für die Playstation2 und der Xbox.

Doch wie so oft, stellt sich diese Meldung als Ente raus. Ross Borden von Namco hat auf dem ign Board bekannt gegeben, dass Street Racing Syndicate sehr wohl auch für den Gamecube released wird.
Ross Borden wörtlich:
"Thanks for the email. We just wanted to let you know that SRS has not been cancelled for Nintendo GameCube. It will be available for all three platforms, and I think you will be impressed with all of the improvements that Namco has made to the game by giving it extra development time. We will be updating the product information page on the Namco web site to reflect this, and we will be releasing more exciting information about the game over."
Namco verspricht deutliche Besserung durch die länger Entwicklungszeit und ein baldiges Update der Homepage.
