Im offiziellen US Playstation Blog hat Sony nun eine neue Firmware für die PSP-Plattform angekündigt. Die Firmware trägt die Version 6.39 und soll die Stabilität der System-Software bei Nutzung einiger Funktionen verbessern. Weitere Details gibt Sony nicht bekannt. Zudem kann man nun - ähnlich wie bei der PS3 - sein PSN Accountpasswort ändern. Bisher musste man dies via store.playstation.com machen bzw. ist auch noch jetzt eine Alternative.
