Vor einiger Zeit berichteten wir euch davon, dass NanaOnSha, die Entwickler von u.a. PaRappa the Rapper, an einem neuen Musikspiel für die Wii arbeiten. Heute wurde das Spiel nun offiziell angekündigt und erste Details veröffentlicht.
Das Spiel hört auf den Namen Major Minor's Majestic March und es beinhaltet 25 bekannte Märsche. Per Wii Remote müssen diese im richtigen Tempo nachgespielt, neue Mitglieder rekrutiert und Gegenstände eingesammtelt werden.
Insgesamt wird es 15 Musikinstrumente geben, darunter Blasinstrumente wie Trompeten und Flöten, sowie Schlaginstrumente wie z.B. Trommeln und Pauken. Die visuelle Umsetzung stammt, wie schon bei PaRappa, aus der Hand von Rodney Alan Greenblat. In der Galerie findet ihr erste Artworks.

Major Minor's Majestic March turns the Wii Remote into a "special" baton that the bandleader, Major Minor, uses to keep tempo, recruit new band members and pick up valuable items. While marching through eight whimsical locations that contain various hair-raising events, Major Minor strives to create the most impressive parade ever. Players can add up to 15 different instruments to their dynamic procession--including brass, woodwinds, and percussion--to alter its composition and resulting performance. Players are scored on how well their band maintains its rhythm and manages obstacles that could otherwise throw the procession into disarray.
