Komaki:
We have received much positive feedback from everyone and are filled with gratitude. I am also grateful for the many comments on social media about the game…I cannot reply to each of them individually, but I would like to express my gratitude to all of those who have played the game.

Director Yuichiro Kitao möchte dahingehend im Detail herausfinden, was Star Ocean The Second Story R so beliebt macht, so dass man auch beim nächsten Titel das Beste aus den Erfahrungen machen könne.
Kitao:
We are honestly happy to hear that the game has been received better than we expected. As a developer, I would like to investigate in detail why the game received so much praise and what was so popular about it so that we can make the most of the experience next time as well. I think the fact that there were so many positive comments is largely due to the fact that everyone who played the original and PSP versions had vivid memories of them. Promotion and marketing are not everything in this area, and I think developers’ passion is also in demand, so I would like to keep both in mind: research is research, and passion is passion.

Komaki:
The Star Ocean team started this project from the point of making all the games in the series playable on current platforms, so we are fulfilling that goal. Of course, we are aware of the expectations for a remake of Star Ocean 3, but we are in the process of further promoting [Second Story R], and at this stage, nothing has been decided on what to do next. We want to think of something while we are receiving warm feedback from everyone, but we cannot give any answers at this time. I can’t make any promises, but I hope you will keep an eye on the Star Ocean series over the long term.
