Passend zu Halloween wird die Auswahl des Spielekatalogs im Oktober gruselig, wenn auch im unterhaltsamen Sinne. Mit Gotham Knights und Disco Elysium werden aber auch Spieler mit anderen Vorlieben angesprochen. Wie üblich, bedarf es ein aktives Abo von PlayStation Plus Extra oder Premium für die normalen Titel und von PlayStation Plus Premium für die Klassiker.
Zusätzlich geben Sony bekannt, dass am 23. Oktober PS5-Cloud-Streaming startet, mit dem Abonnenten von PlayStation Plus Premium unterstützte digitale PS5-Titel aus dem Spielekatalog und -Spieltestversionen sowie unterstützte Spiele aus der PS5-Spielebibliothek, die PlayStation Plus Premium-Mitglieder besitzen, ohne separaten Download spielen können. Zum Start wird dies nur auf der PS5 möglich sein.
