Viele Fans waren erzürnt, als Niantic mit dem letzten größeren Update die Fußstapfen aus Pokémon GO entfernte. Somit konnte man Pokémon in seiner Umgebung nicht mehr gezielter finden, der Entwickler nahm sich dem Problem aber an und bietet nun per Update eine Lösung an.
Ein vergleichbares System namens "Sightings" wird mit dem Update implementiert. Alle zehn Sekunden wird dabei auf eurem Bildschirm das nächstgelegene Pokémon gezeigt und das in einem Radius von 200 Meter. In Zukunft sollen weitere Änderungen in der Hinsicht folgen.
