Wie Adam Boyes, der zuständige Mann bei Sony wenn es um die Beziehung zu den Publishern und Entwicklern geht, bestätigt hat, befinden sich momentan mehr als 100 Indie Games für Playstation 3, Playstation 4 und Playstation Vita in Entwicklung.
Mittlerweile habe man über 1000 lizensierte Entwickler an Bord, die ihre Spiele ganz ohne Publisher auf Sony-Plattformen releasen können. Bisher hat man sogar schon mehr als 20 Millionen Indie-Spiele auf der Playstation 4 an den Mann bringen können. Das entspricht grob einer Attach-Rate von 3 pro Konsole.
Outlast zum Beispiel kann mehr als 1,8 Millionen Downloads vorweisen. Don't Starve kommt immerhin über eine Millionen. Außerdem kündigte man eine Reihe an neuen Indie-Spielen mitsamt Trailern für die Plattformen an:
