Shaun Himmerick, falls ihr den Mann nicht kennen solltet, ist Produzent des in Kürze erscheinenden Spiels The Wheelman. In einem Interview ist ihm nun diese politisch nicht ganz saubere Aussage über die Lippen gekommen, die er aber auch klar begründet. Hauptproblem der PS3 sei demnach ihr Speicher, der zwar genauso groß ist wie der der Xbox 360, allerdings in zwei Teile gespalten ist - was für Schwierigkeiten sorgt.
"The politically incorrect answer is that the PS3 is a huge pain in the ass. Anyone making a game, if youre going to make it for both [360 and PS3], just lead on the PS3 because if it works on the PS3 itll work on 360. The easiest way to look at it is, the 360 has one big chunk of memory, but the PS3 has two chunks of memory that in total are the same size as the Xbox, but because theyre split you cant share memory the same way. That will bite you in the ass, and it bit us in the ass bad."
Ob sich die Arbeit mit dem "störrischen" System dennoch auszahlt sehen wir frühestens Ende März, dann soll The Wheelman nämlich für PS3 und Xbox 360 auf den Markt kommen.
