Take 2 gibt bekannt, dass man den Vertrag mit Rockstar Games verlängert hat. Normalerweise wäre dieser Im Frühjahr 2009 ausgelaufen, der neue Vertrag bindet das Studio nun bis zum 31. Januar 2012 an den Publisher.
Dazu hat man auch neue vertragliche Bestimmungen festgelegt, darunter eine erhöhte Gewinnbeteiligung an den eigenen Titeln. Des weiteren zeigte der Publisher sich damit einverstanden, dass einige Rockstar Mitarbeiter innerhalb von Take 2 ein neues Studio gründen, welches sich auf neue Marken konzentriert.
