Pitfall: The Big Adventure wird über 60 Level beinhalten, die im Regenwald, in verschiedenen Höhlen sowie Eisbergen Spielen werden. In dieser dynamischen Welt können die Spieler den Dschungel erforschen, verlorene Schätze suchen, gegen Schamanen Kämpfen, sowie verschiedenen Fallen und Kreaturen ausweichen und entkommen - dies mit einer laut Activision sehr innovativen Spielmechanik, die speziell für die Wiimote Entwickelt wurde.
