2K Games gibt bekannt, dass man im Herbst 2007 MLB Power Pros für Wii und PS2 in den USA veröffentlichen wird. Dieses basiert auf der in Japan äußerst erfolgreichen Power Pro Baseball-Reihe von Konami, welche auch für die Entwicklung von MLB Power Pros verantwortlich sind.
Natürlich wird der Stil der Reihe beibehalten. So ist jeder Spieler der MLB eine kleine, Spielzeug-ähnliche Figur. Jedoch soll man die Spieler dennoch wiedererkennen können, z.B. durch den Haarstil und Gesichtsausdrücken.
Zudem gibt es verschiedene Spielmodi, darunter den Success-Modus, welcher RPG-Eemente mit Baseball-Szenarios verbindet.
