Tony Buckley von Sony Studio Liverpool hat in einem Interview mit Kikizo verraten, dass man im August eine Ankündigung zu WipEout für die PS3 machen wird. Weitere Details nannte er jedoch nicht. Auch ist nicht bekannt, ob damit eventuell ein WipEout HD für den PlayStation Store gemeint ist.
