Sega Europe und Sega of America haben heute The Club angekündigt, welches von Bizarre Creations (u.a. Project Gotham Racing 3) entwickelt wird. Der 3rd-Person Shooter soll 2007 auf bisher nicht genannten Next-Generation Plattformen erscheinen.
'The Club' ist eine illegale Untergrundorganisation. Dort treffen sich Leute, die den ultimativen Nervenkitzel suchen und Leute, die ihnen dabei zuschauen wollen. Der Spieler nimmt ebenfalls an diesem Sport teil und muss ums Überleben kämpfen.
Die Schauplätze verteilen sich auf der ganzen Welt. Mit leistungsstarken Waffen verdient man sich seine Flucht. Die Hauptaufgabe besteht im Überleben, jedoch muss man auch nach den Regeln vom Club töten: Schnell, unnachgiebig und mit Stil.
Auf der E3 wird The Club nur hinter verschlossenen Türen präsentiert. In der Mediagallery könnt ihr euch jedoch schon einmal erste Artworks anschauen.
