Einigen wird auffallen, dass Resident Evil 4 in keiner der Kategorien nominiert ist. Das liegt daran, dass Capcom kein Mitglied der AIAS ist, und sich auch nicht dazu entschieden hat, dies zu werden.
Verliehen werden die Awards am 9. Februar 2006 auf dem diesjährigen D.I.C.E. (Design, Innovate, Create, Entertain) Summit in Henderson/Nevada.
