Um einen weiteren Anreiz für das Abonnement von Nintendo Switch Online und des Erweiterungspakets zu schaffen, sind ab sofort in diesen Spiele des Game Boy und des Game Boy Advance enthalten. Für Game Boy-Spiele reicht dabei Nintendo Switch Online aus, wohingegen für Game Boy Advance-Spiele auch das Erweiterungspakt abonniert werden muss.
