Electronic Arts hat heute die Entwicklung von Lord of the Rings: The White Council bekanntgegeben. Es wird ein komplett neues RPG werden und Ende 2007 für die PS3 und die Xbox 360 erscheinen. Die Story soll komplett neu sein, sich jedoch an der originalen Geschichte orientieren.

Tolkiens The Lord of the Rings novels under an agreement with EA. The game is scheduled to ship in late 2007.
