Microsoft bietet mit dem neusten Windows 10-Update die Aufhebung der Framerate-Sperre für Spiele der Windows Universal Platform (UWP) an. Auch Spieler die UWP-Titel mit DX12 nutzen, werden nun in der Lage sein die Vertikale Synchronisation deaktivieren zu können. Diese Änderungen wurden der Nvidia G-SYNC und AMD FreeSync hinzugefügt.
Gears of War: Ultimate Edition profitiert seit dem 12. Mai schon von den Änderungen (Spiel-Update erforderlich - siehe Patchnotes unten).
Forza Motorsport 6: Appex wird in naher Zukunft unterstützt.
