Armature Studio setzt sich aus früheren Mitarbeitern der Retro Studios zusammen und arbeitete bislang größtenteils an Auftragsarbeiten wie der PS4 und Xbox One Umsetzung der Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate oder der PS Vita und Wii U Umsetzung von Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Mittlerweile hat sich das Studio aber aufgemacht, mit Comcept an einer neuen IP für Xbox One namens ReCore zu arbeiten. Heute wurde ein weiteres Spiel des Studios angekündigt, diesmal für PlayStation 4 und PC. Das Ganze hört auf den Namen "Dead Star" und ist ein "fast paced Shooter am brennenden Rand des bekannten Universums". Bieten soll der Titel folgendes, inklusive Trailer.
