In einem Videostatement (siehe unten) hat sich Anonymous wieder zu Wort gemeldet. Die Gerichtsverhandlung zwischen Geohot und Sony sei mit der Einigung zwar vorbei, aber das Kernproblem bleibe bestehen. So beschwert sich Anonymous darüber, dass große Firmen wie in diesem Fall Youtube dazu zwingen können, dass IP-Adressen und andere persönliche Daten herausgerückt werden müssen. Dies passierte im Geohot Fall als Sony sich alle Daten von jenen geben liess, die sich auf Youtube ein bestimmtes Video mit dem Hacken der PS3 angesehen haben. Anonymous ruft zum physischen Boykott mit Guy-Fawkes Masken in den verschiedenen Sony-Läden rund um die Welt auf.
