Wie 3D Realms nun offiziell bestätigt hat, ist Duke Nukem 3D seit dem 15.08.2008 fertiggestellt und befindet sich "in den Händen" von Microsoft. Wann das Spiel nun genau auf Xbox Live erscheint ist jedoch nicht bekannt.
