Vor kurzem tauchte die Meldung auf, dass der PC-Rennspielentwickler SimBin ihr Spiel RACE auch für die Xbox 360 veröffentlichen werden. Für den Vertrieb sollte THQ zuständig sein.
Kurz darauf äußerte sich der Entwickler jedoch dazu und ließ verlauten, dass man zwar an einem Rennspiel für die Xbox 360 arbeite, diese Meldung jedoch nicht den Tatsachen entspreche.
Heute folgte nun die offizielle Ankündigung des Spiels. Der Titel lautet RACE Pro und für den Vertrieb wird Atari verantwortlich sein. RACE Pro bietet dabei ein realistisches Fahrerlebnis dank der eigens entwickelten Lizard-Engine. Verschiedene Rennklassen wie WTCC (World Touring Car Championship), Formula 3000 und Formula BMW sorgen dabei für Abwechslung.
Weitere Features sind 13 Rennstrecken, Online- und LAN-Duelle für bis zu 12 Spieler, einem Hot Seat-Modus, und mehr.
Erscheinen wird RACE Pro im Herbst 2008.
