Electronic Arts hat eine neue Marke für ihre Sportspiele angekündigt, die Gelegenheitsspielern die Möglichkeit geben soll schnell und einfach Spaß an virtuellen Sportarten zu entwickeln. EA Sports Freestyle wird diese Marke heißen und Spiele kennzeichnen, die sowohl für langjährige Fans gewohnte Spieltiefe bieten, aber auch den Casual-Markt ansprechen sollen.
Das erste Spiel unter dem Namen wird FaceBreaker werden, das Boxspiel der Fight Night-Entwickler im Comic-Stil. Aber auch die altbekannten Reihen wie FIFA, NBA Live, oder Tiger Woods PGA Tour sollen bald einen leichteren Einstieg als EA Sports Freestyle-Spiele bieten.
