Wie nun bekannt wurde, war No More Heroes ursprünglich für die Xbox 360 geplant. Aber nachdem die Entwickler erfahren haben, wie die Steuerung der Wii aussieht, hat man das Projekt auf die neue Nintendokonsole übertragen. Nach Meinung der Entwickler war es eine gute Entscheidung, da das Spiel wunderbar mit der Wii-Mote funktioniert.
