Activision hat heute Tony Hawk's Proving Ground für Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2 und NDS angekündigt. Entwickelt wird das Spiel wieder von Neversoft, erscheinen soll es im Herbst.
In Tony Hawk's Proving Ground sollen Spieler ihren Charakter, ihre Geschichte und ihren Stil durch ihre jeweiligen Entscheidungen beeinflussen können. Geskatet wird unter anderem in Philadelphia, Baltimore und Washington D.C.
Auch wird es einen umfangreichen Video-Editor geben, in welchem man seine eigenen Skate-Videos zusammenstellen kann. Online-Modi sind natürlich auch diesmal wieder vorhanden. Diese soll man nahtlos aus dem Einzelspieler-Modus aus erreichen können.

Tony Hawk's Proving Ground is in development by Neversoft for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system, Wii home video game system, PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, and Nintendo DS.
