Phil Harrison hat sich in einem Interview mit dem OPM zum Europa-Launch der PS3 geäußert. So will er darüber keine endgültige Aussage treffen, da alle vorherigen Aussagen über einen gleichzeitigen Launch in den USA und Europa nicht zutreffend waren.

It's not my job to comment on hardware supply issues other than to say some very smart people are working very hard to catch up. In fact, the ramp up is already starting to happen in supply and output, just obviously too late for us to have launched in Europe at the same times as the US."

Diese Info ist aus dem Zusammenhang gerissen. Er wurde nach den Auslieferungsmengen der PS3 in Europa gefragt, worüber wir generell im Vorfeld keine Aussage machen. Es ging nicht um den Launchtermin von PS3. Dieser ist nach wie vor für März 2007 geplant."
