The Game Awards werden am 3. Dezember veranstaltet. Auch in diesem Jahr sollen zahlreiche Entwickler vor Ort sein und auch wenn noch keine Details bekannt gegeben wurden, werden wir wohl die ein oder andere Weltpremiere zu sehen bekommen.
Es wären aber keine Awards, wenn es auch nicht Preise für die besten Spiele des Jahres geben würde. Heute wurden die Nominierten für die jeweiligen Kategorien bekannt gegeben. Die wohl populärste Kategorie ist wohl die für das Spiel des Jahres. In diesem Jahr wurden dafür Bloodborne, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Super Mario Maker und Fallout 4 nominiert.
Eine 32 köpfige internationale Jury entscheidet über die Sieger. Es werden nur Spiele akzeptiert, die bis einschließlich 24. November veröffentlicht wurden. Hier jetzt die Listen für die Nominierten.
