Und der Support geht weiter: Sony hat nun via US Playstation Blog ein neues Update für das PS3-exklusive Game Gran Turismo 5 angekündigt. Das Update trägt die Versionsnummer 2.02 und erscheint am 20. Dezember 2011. Der Changelog sieht wie gefolgt aus:

Jeder, der den Patch am besagten Tag herunterlädt, bekommt neben den Verbesserungen und Bugfixes das Automodell "Toyota FT-86 2012" kostenfrei gestellt. Apropos neue Automodell: Parallel zum Patch wird auch ein neues DLC-Paket veröffentlicht. Das Erweiterungspaket beinhaltet folgende fünf Automodelle: 2011 Mini Cooper S, 2010 Volkswagen Golf VI R, 2010 Volkswagen Scirocco R und der 2012 Nissan GT-R Black edition R35. Preislich soll das DLC-Paket $3.99 kosten.
