Square Enix hat heute auf einer Investoren-Konferenz in Japan Final Fantasy Aphrodita XIII für Wii vorgestellt. Der Titel wird ein weiterer Teil der Fabula Nova Crystallis Reihe und fügt sich somit in die gesamte Geschichte ein.
In dem Spiel übernimmt man die Rolle der weiblichen Aphrodita, welche dank ihrer Venus-Kraft mit dem Planeten kommunizieren kann. Ihre Aufgabe ist es, den Krieg zwischen zwei Völkern zu beenden und so wieder Frieden und Liebe herzustellen, um dem Planeten somit seinen größten Wunsch zu erfüllen.
Das Spiel wird jedoch kein typisches RPG oder Action-RPG, sondern es wird gänzlich auf Kämpfe verzichtet. Stattdessen wird man mittels Wii-Remote bestimmte Aktionen ausführen können, die ein sogenanntes 'Liebes-Meter' auffüllen. Ist dieses voll, kann man diese Kraft nutzen, um Menschen vom Krieg abzuwenden.
Final Fantasy Aphrodita XIII soll die Technologie der Wii-Konsole voll ausnutzen und wird 2008 in Japan erscheinen.

In FINAL FANTASY Aphrodita XIII players will have to bring love and peace back to the planet. As the female lead character Aphrodita players will have the ability to communicate with the planet through her Venus-Power to fulfill the planets biggest wish: To break up the war between two folks. Completely without fights, players will have to do special actions with the Wii remote to fill up the Love-Meter. With enough Power players are able to use it's power to let people avoid the war and bring back the peace.
