Effekte sind in Ordnung, aber allgemein sieht es sehr leer und detailarm aus. Da wirken einige Smartphone Games schöner.

Es gibt übrigens auch schon mehr als nur Bilder, nämlich Infos und sogar nen Trailer

Die Klassen beim Namen genannt: Sword Warrior, Assassin, Hunter, Mage, Hammer Smith und Cleric. Und es ist ein Vierspieler-Multiplayer “Hunting-Action” RPG. Also ein Monster Hunter... ^^ Und auf der TGS ist es schon spielbar (einer der 18 unangekündigten Titel bei Sony).

GungHo Online Entertainment, the parent company of Ragnarok Online​ developer Gravity, keeps trying to bring the popular MMORPG series offline. They created a Nintendo DS​ action RPG and a PSP strategy RPG. Ragnarok Odyssey mashes the mythology from Ragnarok Online with the thriving hunting genre on PlayStation Vita. I played Ragnarok Odyssey and compared to Monster Hunter this game is more action packed with flashy special moves.

The game has six different classes: sword warrior, hunter, hammersmith, assassin, mage, and cleric.








Ragnarok Odyssey is slated for release in Japan on February 2, which will give it a jump on the inevitable wave of portable hunting games. Unless another company throws their a Vita card in the ring, Lord of Apocalypse, a PlayStation Vita launch title, will be its main competition for the ad-hoc multiplayer crown.

Ragnarok Odyssey-Demo am 19. Januar

11.01.12 - GungHo wird eine Demo zum Rollenspiel Ragnarok Odyssey am 19.01.12 im japanischen PlayStation Store veröffentlichen. Das schreibt die Famitsu, das Spiel kommt am 02.02.12 in den Handel.

Ragnarok Odyssey Patch für Online-Spielen am Montag

22.03.12 - GungHo gibt bekannt, dass für das Rollenspiel Ragnarok Odyssey ein Patch am 26.03.12 in Japan veröffentlicht wird. Das kostenlose Update fügt einen Online-Mehrspieler-Modus und Near-Funktionen hinzu. Über Near kann man von anderen Spielern Karten und andere Gegenstände erhalten.

Xseed Updates Us On Ragnarok Odyssey

As Siliconera reported yesterday, Ragnarok Odyssey will be available in Hong Kong with English text on August 16.

A representative from Xseed confirmed that the Hong Kong version of Ragnarok Odyssey will use Xseed’s translation. However, the Hong Kong release will be different than the North American one. DLC packs like the Epic Weapons and Sograt Desert packs will be released as downloadable content instead of being on the cart. A representative from Xseed said, "we should be releasing the DLC" and "it will come as DLC. It won’t ship with the game like the version that’s coming out in Hong Kong"

The good news is all of the DLC that’s free in Japan will be free in North America too. Game Arts made a couple of content updates like adding extra quests, a Dokuro, and a hat where Forte sits on your characters head. There are a few paid content packs like a four hat pack (hanging cat, an apple with an arrow through it called "archer’s proof," rabbit ears, and goat horns) for 100 yen.

Unfortunately, we do not have a release date for Ragnarok Odyssey in North America, but we’ll keep bugging Xseed for more information about the title.

Special Edition

Xseed have announced a “Mercenary Edition” of Ragnarok Odyssey. This version of the game will cost $50 and will come with a soundtrack CD, a Mercenary Guide book with art work and strategies, and a pack of 10 random Monster Cards. The standard version of the game will cost $40.

28.09.12 - GungHo gibt bekannt, dass man das Action RPG Ragnarok Odyssey 2012 auch in Europa veröffentlichen wird. In Japan ist das von Game Arts entwickelte Spiel schon seit dem 02.02.12 zu haben.

Ragnarok Odyssey USA Termin

11.10.12 - Xseed Games gibt bekannt, dass das Rollenspiel Ragnarok Odyssey am 30.10.12 in den USA erhätlich sein wird. Neben einer Standard-Version für USD 39,99 ist auch eine "Mercenary Edition" geplant.

Die Sonderauflage besteht aus 10 Monsterkarten, einer Soundtrack CD mit 32 Songs und einem 96 Seiten starken "Mercenary Guide" mit Artworks, Karten, Missionen, Boss-Strategien, uvm. Die "Mercenary Edition" kostet USD 49,99.
