ich finde es immer geil wenn einige bei ms = m$ schreiben
es ist wohl an der zeit mal $ony und 3 d$ ( zu schade dass nintendo kein s im namen hat ) zu schreiben sonst fühlen sich die anderen zu benachteiligt

While its parent company goes through a dramatic reinvention, Sony Music's scraped together $2.2 billion to lead a consortium that's just bought EMI's music publishing business. While it'll sell off the three Virgin and Famous Music labels to avoid competition concerns, the company will gain access to three million songs from artists like Frank Sinatra, Jay-Z and Adele. It won't affect the day-to-day running of EMI's record label, which is a separate entity, but it will make Sony the biggest music publisher in the world. It's hard not to envisage a future in which the company's influence in the way we buy and listen to music becomes even greater -- especially given that EMI led the charge in abandoning DRM all those years ago.

Live bringt zwar richtig gut Geld ein, aber laut den usern aus Gaf, hören mehrere mit ihrer Mitgliedschaft auf. Ich hatte ja selbst Gold und weiß bis heute nicht was den Mehrwert ausmacht, man hat Voice Chat und eigt weniger Maintance aber sonst gar nichts.
Ich lade wie viele andere beim PSN mit Full Speed, das war früher nicht so aber seit 09 schon.

Der Umsatz ist also um 16% auf 1,62 MRD. USD gesunken.

Klar, die haben ja nicht nur Verbindlichkeiten sondern auch Forderungen gegenüber anderen Firmen. Aber, dass sie die Kurve kriegen müssen, kann ja niemand mit ein bisschen Sinn für Realität bestreiten.

die zahlen sind aber logisch:
In der Entertainment & Devices Division, zu der auch die Spielesparte gehört, geht es etwas gemäßigter zu: Hier sank der Umsatz um 16 Prozent auf 1,62 Mrd. Dollar. Konnte man im ersten Quartal des Vorjahres noch einen Gewinn von 210 Mio. Dollar verbuchen, so musste man im ersten Quartal des aktuellen Jahres einen Verlust von 229 Mio. Dollar hinnehmen. Einer der Hauptgründe: "a soft gaming console market". Auch habe man mehr Geld für Forschung und Entwicklung investiert - ein Teil des Geldes dürfte sich auch in die Konzipierung der nächsten Xbox geflossen sein.

Jopp. Liegt halt a) daran dass viele sich im Weihnachtsgeschäft versorgt haben b) dass die Händler sich gegen Ende des Jahres auch öfters mal bevorraten um die Jahresmengenrückvergütung zu erhalten.Wenn es in Klammern steht ist es Loss

die xbox ist aber nicht der grund wieso die sparte verlust macht
die xbox macht deutliche gewinne
der rest der sparte wie wp 7 und co ziehen die sparte runter weil diese produkte noch nicht so greifen wie es sich ms vorstellt
deshalb muss ms bei der xbox keine kleine brötchen backen
sisxoo sei doch nicht so anstrengend.
im ersten quartal des jahres gehen die zahlen immer zurück und ms hat halt weniger konsolen ausgeliefert.
dies und die entwicklungskosten für die 720er machen sich halt in den zahlen bemerkbar.
ich glaube nämlich nicht das die verluste auf die anderen produkte der sparte zurückzuführen sind, bzw. nicht so extrem wie du uns hier glauben machen willst.
